The story of Mia Malkova Is My Girlfriend’s Step-Mom
The setup
A nervous boyfriend arrives for his first family weekend with his girlfriend, and it happens to be Halloween. There are costumes, party games and a host with a plan. The stepmom, played by Mia Malkova’s AI twin, quietly rigs every game so that he ends up on her team.
What begins as a harmless seasonal party turns into a series of small coincidences that are not coincidences at all. The boyfriend spends most of the weekend trying to work out whether he is being welcomed or tested.
What to expect
Five short episodes with a playful, seasonal feel. The costumes, the decorations and the party-game structure give the series a light, almost comic energy before the tension takes over.
It is a good pick for viewers who like a story with a bit of mischief and a lead who clearly enjoys being in charge.
A closer look
The Halloween setting gives this series a sense of play from the first scene. Costumes hide identities, party games create teams and the host quietly decides who plays with whom. By the end of the weekend, the boyfriend has the nagging sense that he was never really playing at all. It is a lighter story, ideal for anyone who prefers mischief to melodrama.
The cast
The stepmom is played by the AI twin of Candy Creator Mia Malkova. The boyfriend and girlfriend are AI-generated characters.
Who it suits
Halloween fans, party-game storylines and anyone who likes the idea of a weekend where every rule has a loophole.
