The basics

What is Candyshorts?

Candyshorts is where Candy AI keeps its episodic stories. Instead of chatting, you watch brief portrait-format videos made with AI and starring invented characters, bundled into series that usually run five episodes. Your normal Candy AI login opens it, and it is for adults only. On series without the Spicy tag the opening two episodes cost nothing; beyond them you need Premium or tokens.

Candyshorts at a glance

Think of Candyshorts as the television set inside Candy AI, a service better known for virtual companions you talk to, listen to and look at. Rather than typing messages, you follow a plotline across a few quick portrait-format episodes. Romance, secrets and mature themes drive the stories, and an AI model produced every face, voice and location you see. Because of that content, access is limited to people who are at least 18.

Imagine the bite-sized dramas that fill phone feeds, only with a synthetic cast instead of hired actors. Each series wraps up its own plot and tries to end every episode on a cliffhanger. You watch inside the login you already use for chat.

Where it sits inside Candy AI

Candy AI’s core product is the companion: you select or build a character, then converse through messages, voice clips and generated pictures. Candyshorts is the side where you are an audience rather than a participant. Characters come back from episode to episode and instalments are numbered, so it feels like a micro-drama app even though no camera was involved. Its home is candy.ai/candy-shorts. A single login covers both chat and series, so you move between them in one tap.

Creators bridge the two halves. Certain real creators are mirrored by an AI double that you can message on Candy AI, and a few of those doubles headline series. The digital twins page walks through the creator-by-creator list.

Candyshorts AI is an independent guide to the feature. How links and commissions work is explained in the disclaimer.

The company behind it

According to its own terms of service, Candy AI belongs to EverAI Limited, a Maltese company, and that is the name printed on your card statement after a payment. Public information points to a gradual path: companion chat plus image generation arrived in 2023, short video clips of individual characters came next, and eventually the platform began releasing fully scripted series produced in advance and advertised with edited previews.

Most viewers meet Candyshorts through those previews. Affiliates post them across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Explicit material is prohibited on those networks, so every preview breaks off well short of anything graphic. That mismatch, a tame teaser on one side and an adults-only paid episode on the other, lies behind most of the questions people ask. The adult content page tackles it head on.

What watching looks like

  • Portrait orientation. Hold the phone upright. You land on a feed first and swipe through clips; some stand alone, but most are slices of a series.
  • The series page. Expect a poster, a one-paragraph premise, a cast list and numbered episodes. A padlock marks every episode your account cannot open yet.
  • Length. Episodes run somewhere between one and three minutes. Five per series is normal, a few titles stretch to ten, and the longest one we cover has 27.
  • Order. Browse the catalogue in any sequence you like, but inside a series start at episode one, because the story builds. Some running series receive extra episodes over time, which the New episodes label signals.
  • No cameras. Nothing is shot with a crew, and that is why the catalogue grows so fast.

Everything on screen is synthetic

Faces, voices and locations come from generative models, and every character is invented. Candy Creators series are the one wrinkle: the star is a licensed digital twin, meaning an AI copy of a real adult creator, and even then no real footage was recorded. In mid-October 2026 the platform listed fifteen creators, with six of them appearing in series.

The public previews also give a sense of quality: believable at first glance, with the odd stiff movement that betrays the technique. Some viewers do not mind, others find it eerie, and you will know within one episode which group you belong to.

How the catalogue is organised, and what Spicy means

The catalogue splits into three sections (Girls, Anime and Guys), and theme tags work as filters. The filters on offer when we checked, in alphabetical order, were Cuckold, Fantasy, Maid, Milf, Nympho, Spicy, Stepmom, Stepsister, Taboo, Teacher and Wife. Read them as shorthand for the set-up:

  • Stepsister, Stepmom, Wife. Relationship drama under one roof. The newest releases lean heavily this way.
  • Milf and Teacher. The spotlight falls on a seasoned, older lead.
  • Taboo and Fantasy. Off-limits or make-believe scenarios.
  • Maid. Household staff and a behind-closed-doors setting.

Spicy is the tag you most need to understand before signing up. It flags the platform’s most mature titles, and it overrides the free-episode rule: these series have no free episode at all. On 15 October 2026 the catalogue held 159 series, 14 of them Spicy. A New tab surfaces recent additions, the tag is shown on each series page, and the whole series catalogue is listed here.

What sets it apart from ordinary mini-drama apps

Vertical mini-dramas are everywhere, so what sets this one apart?

  1. It is the output of a model, not a film shoot.
  2. It is written for adults, and sexual and mature themes are part of the plot.
  3. It lives within a larger platform that handles chat, voice and pictures too.
  4. Several series are led by AI doubles of actual creators.

If vertical drama is your thing, the pacing will feel familiar. Anyone after wholesome viewing should look elsewhere.

The money side in brief

Creating an account is free and asks for no payment details. A free account already gives you the feed, all series pages, and episodes one and two of every series that does not carry the Spicy tag. From episode three a padlock appears, and unlocking it takes either a Premium subscription or tokens. The same subscription also powers the chat side, so it serves both halves of the service. Prices, cancellation and refunds are covered on the pricing page, and the free access page spells out what you can watch before paying.

Is there an app?

None that we have come across, and no listing in either the Apple or Google store. It runs in your browser, and a bookmark on the home screen gives you one-tap access. If something calls itself a Candyshorts app, APK or “mod”, it is not the genuine service. The safety guide shows how to separate candy.ai from imitations.

What you need to start

A connected device (phone, tablet or laptop), an account on Candy AI and an age of 18 or more. There is nothing to download. The route is short:

  1. Open Shorts from the Candy AI menu.
  2. Sign up at no cost, or log in, and verify your age.
  3. Go to Shorts, choose a series and begin with episode one.

Strengths and weaknesses

Purely as entertainment, the format is quick and unpretentious: melodrama that ends each part on a hook. Ratings displayed inside the platform come from the platform, so treat them as advertising. Here is how we see the balance:

Points in its favour Points against
Quick to consume: an episode fits into a coffee break. AI artefacts can feel uncanny.
The yearly rate undercuts most adult subscriptions. Token bundle prices stay hidden until checkout, which makes per-episode spending hard to plan.
The free opening episodes work as a try-before-you-buy. Storylines repeat; two step-family series in, you know the pattern.
A named operator, cancelling from the settings screen and nothing to install. Spicy series offer no sampling, and the teasers imply more than the free episodes deliver.

Is it worth paying for?

That depends on your viewing volume. If you enjoy melodrama in small doses, are comfortable with adult-rated synthetic characters and expect to follow more than one series, a subscription makes sense, and more so if you also chat with companions, because one plan stretches across both. If you want real performers, find AI likenesses off-putting or assume you will reach the finale for free, skip it. Those two free episodes are a sample; they are not designed to get you to the finale. Try them, then read the pricing page before you buy.

Is there an alternative?

Nothing replaces it one for one. Two neighbouring categories each give you half. AI companion apps supply conversation and imagery but seldom produce scripted shows. Mini-drama apps supply the portrait episode format, yet with human actors, clean storylines and a coin or subscription model that mirrors tokens and Premium. Candyshorts sits where they overlap: adult, synthetic and serialised. If that combination is not your target, a wider category will do the job, likely at a lower cost.

Who it suits, and what it is not

It fits grown-ups who like compact romantic drama with an adult edge and are untroubled by sexual content. How far a story goes varies from teasing to graphic, series by series, so check the particulars first.

  • It is not a standalone app; it plays inside Candy AI.
  • It is not a heap of unrelated clips; episodes are bundled into series that have a plot.
  • It is not meant for anyone under 18, however a teaser looks.
  • It is not recorded footage; cast and scenes are machine-made.

What you will find here

Think of these pages as the notes worth having before you press play. They describe the feature, catalogue each series along with its stars and number of episodes, and explain what to expect. No video is hosted here, because the watching happens in Candy AI. Specific worries have their own pages: nudity, uncensored, leaked links and safety.

Questions people ask

What is Candyshorts, exactly?

It is the section of Candy AI devoted to scripted series: portrait episodes lasting one to three minutes, starring invented AI characters who recur through the story. Account, Premium plan and token balance are shared with the chat side, and the audience is adults aged 18 and over.

Is Candyshorts separate from Candy AI?

No. Candy AI is the whole platform; Candyshorts is a section of it and opens with the same sign-in.

Do I need a Candyshorts app?

There is no official one that we know of. You use a browser, and you can pin the site to your home screen. Anything with the name in an app store or an APK file should be regarded as unofficial.

Who produces the series?

Candy AI itself, owned and run by EverAI Limited in Malta. Characters, voices and sets are created by generative models instead of being filmed.

Are the characters real people?

No. They are fictional and generated. A Candy Creators series features a licensed AI double of a real adult creator, which is a likeness rather than the individual, and again nothing was filmed.

How long do episodes and series run?

Each episode lasts between one and three minutes. The usual series has five episodes, a few have ten, and the longest we cover has 27. Always trust the episode list on Candy AI for a specific title.

Is it worth the money?

If you enjoy brief melodrama, tolerate adult-rated AI characters and expect to watch multiple series, subscribing usually beats unlocking episode by episode. If one series is all you want, or the AI look puts you off, the free episodes may be enough.

Is it any good?

As light, no-effort viewing, fairly. Cliffhangers close each episode, and five parts add up to roughly a quarter of an hour. Its weak spots are formulaic plots and visuals that some people tolerate better than others.

Is there anything comparable?

Not directly. Companion apps give chat and pictures without scripted shows, while mini-drama apps give the portrait format with live actors and no adult content. Candyshorts is where those two overlap, so the best substitute depends on which half you miss.

Who is it for?

Adults who enjoy brief romantic dramas with a mature tone and accept sexual themes. If you are under 18 or want filmed performers, leave it.
