One account, one plan

Don’t go looking for a Candyshorts subscription of its own, because none exists. The series are watched through your Candy AI account, so the account and its plan set how much is open to you. Signing up is free, so you can browse first, and a plan opens up more afterwards. Candy AI offers just one subscription, called Premium, which comes with three term lengths; the longer the term, the lower the monthly price. That plan covers the whole product: the chat, image and video features and the locked episodes in Shorts.

The figures, and the day they were taken

All amounts below were taken from the official subscription page on 15 October 2026 and are stated in dollars. That page adapts to the country it thinks you are in, so you may see another currency symbol, occasionally a different amount, and deals come and go quickly.

The same page labelled the 12-month plan as 70% cheaper, the 3-month plan as 35% cheaper and the first month as 29% cheaper, with $13.99 per month as the baseline for all three percentages. When a term ends, it starts over by itself for another term of equal length.

Why we still point you to the plan screen

Rates, billing cycles, discounts and plan contents change often. Anything printed here might be stale by tomorrow, and a wrong price does more harm than none, so take the table as a snapshot and verify it on Candy AI’s own plan screen, which always shows the live figures.

What Premium includes

Four perks are listed on the subscription page: creating AI companions of your own, producing 18+ images and videos, text chat with no limit, and 100 tokens every month. When you hit a locked episode in Shorts, the paywall offers Premium as a single purchase that opens all premium episodes together, so you needn’t pay title by title. Mostly, a plan decides which episodes you can play, since the later ones sit behind a lock, though it may also alter what the other features give you. Candy AI controls the contents of each plan, so look again each time you buy.

Free versus Premium

Free access exists, but it does not go far. Registering costs nothing and asks for no card; in return you get the Shorts feed, each series page, and episodes one and two of each series that has no Spicy tag. From episode three onward there is a padlock. Spicy series work differently: none of their episodes are free, so even episode one requires Premium or tokens. The terms also limit a free account to five messages with AI characters. Premium lifts the padlocks from the whole catalogue, Spicy titles too, and brings the monthly tokens. Which term suits you?

Paying $47.88 for twelve months is cheaper than four months at $13.99, with the quarterly plan sitting between the two. To compare without trusting anyone’s table, divide the yearly price by twelve and ask whether you will watch (or use Candy AI generally) enough to justify it.

• Yearly is the pick if you will also use the chat or image tools, because a single plan pays for both and this term carries the biggest discount.
• Quarterly fits a few months of steady watching when you would rather not be billed for twelve months at once.
• Monthly works when you only want to get through a series or two and then leave. The first month is the lowest-cost entry, and you are committed for just one billing period.

The terms allow subscription prices to go up now and then, with notice before you are renewed at a higher rate. Switching to a higher or lower plan is allowed whenever you want; the switch applies from the next billing cycle.

Tokens: what a locked episode costs

Inside the platform, tokens act as its own money. A Premium plan includes a set number each month (100, per the subscription page and the terms), and you spend them on add-ons such as generated images and voice notes. In Shorts there is one more use: a token payment unlocks one locked episode without any plan. Each series sets its own episode price; these were the catalogue amounts on 15 October 2026:

You only get to see what a token pack costs when you buy one, so this page works in tokens and avoids money amounts. Before topping up, know two rules from the terms. You cannot give tokens to another person or exchange them for cash, and once a subscription finishes, any leftover tokens expire, so a later subscription begins with none. If you are choosing between only a few series, it pays to do the sums.

What to look at on the plan screen

1. Cost and billing cycle. Does it bill monthly, quarterly, yearly or once only, and what is the total in your own currency?
2. Coverage. Which features and episodes come with the plan.
3. Renewal. Will it renew automatically, and on which date?
4. Cancellation. How can you cancel, and what is the deadline?
5. Discounts. Does the offer expire, and what will you pay once it does?

Promotions, coupons and promo codes

Most of the saving comes from the pricing structure itself, since a longer term brings down the monthly cost. The official site also promotes limited-time offers for first-time subscribers. Take one if you planned to subscribe in any case, but check what the price becomes after it runs out. Treat coupon pages that promise stronger codes or secret deals with suspicion. A lot of them are run by the same networks that spread fake video players and forms that harvest card numbers, as the leaked links page explains, and in most cases they are after your personal data.

Taxes, currency and card charges

Whether taxes appear on the plan screen depends on your location, and the quoted currency may not be the one your card uses. Banks can charge extra for payments in a foreign currency. Look at the final total before confirming, then match it against your statement later.

Paying safely

Make payments only within Candy AI, using the official plan screen. You can pay with a credit card or Pay by Bank, and in certain countries by other means. On your statement the charge is listed under EverAI, the operator’s name, so watch for it before you dispute a payment you do not recognise. Never pay anyone else for Candyshorts access, a lifetime pass, a shared login or a complete pack, and do not enter card details anywhere except the official domain. How to cancel

1. In your account, go to Settings and select Unsubscribe.
2. This prevents the next renewal without cutting off access straight away. Premium stays active through the period you have already paid for, and after that the account reverts to the free tier.
3. Subscribing again later is possible. Each period is separate, so tokens you had left over from a previous one do not come back.
4. Cancel ahead of the renewal date. A yearly plan that renews without you noticing means another $47.88 to pay, and you have just 24 hours to ask for a refund.

Refunds

Candy AI’s terms of service, in the version dated 22 September 2026, state the rules:

• Subscriptions. The request has to be made within 24 hours of payment. It is declined if you have used over 20 tokens, and only card payments can be refunded.
• Token packs. The 24-hour limit is the same here. Once any of the tokens has been used, no refund is possible, and card payments are again the only ones eligible.
• EU and UK residents. You also have a right to withdraw within 14 days, measured from your first purchase, and the amount returned is cut pro rata to reflect what you used. This does not apply to renewals.

Getting a refund ends the plan immediately, and so does a chargeback. Unless something has truly gone wrong, cancel from your account settings and not through a dispute with your bank.

Is it worth the money?

The yearly price is fairly low for an adult subscription, and the two free episodes let you try the format at no cost. The money goes either on a plan, which opens every locked episode, or on tokens, which buy one unlock at a time, so settle early on whichever matches your expected viewing. Someone who watches lightly and wants just one or two ordinary series should look at tokens first, since a five-episode title comes to 36 tokens. A plan makes more sense from the start for anyone who likes creator series, which cost 30 tokens per episode, or Spicy series, where no episode is free.

What we would tell a newcomer is this: start on the free tier, step up to a monthly plan if you like the format, and think about the yearly term only after your interest has lasted. Go through the refund terms before you pay, because most people have only 24 hours to ask.
