The Prince’s Last Week Unwed

The story of The Prince’s Last Week Unwed

The setup

The wedding is a week away. The palace is full of seamstresses, cooks and nervous advisers, and the prince has rehearsed his vows so often he could recite them in his sleep. Then Lady Antonella arrives, a step-cousin who has ridden in to watch him say them. She is charming, patient and entirely unwilling to let anyone forget the night the two of them once spent together.

With seven days on the clock, every corridor turns into a conversation he would prefer not to have, and every formal dinner becomes a test of how well a future ruler can pretend.

What to expect

Five short episodes inside castle walls: candlelit halls, a stable yard at dawn, a chapel being decorated for a ceremony that may or may not go ahead. The countdown gives the plot a natural structure, with each episode ticking another day off the calendar. It carries the Fantasy and Taboo tags on Candy AI, so expect a period-style setting and a story built around a connection that is not supposed to exist.

The question running through it is whether a vow is a promise or just a script.

A closer look

Royal weddings are public by nature, which gives the story both pressure and cover: the prince is watched by everyone, and Antonella has the rare advantage of being expected. The step-cousin relationship adds a layer of etiquette on top, since family gatherings keep throwing the two together under the eyes of the court. A one-week deadline suits vertical episodes, because every scene ends on a choice that has to be made before the next sunrise.

Like every Candyshorts series it is fiction for adults, so enjoy the pageantry as part of the fantasy.

The cast

Candy AI credits Antonella Larrea on this series. Every character on screen is AI-generated, like everyone else in Candyshorts. She plays Lady Antonella, and the prince is the groom whose week she is about to complicate.

Who it suits

Viewers who enjoy costume drama, a ticking clock and a story where etiquette is the main obstacle. If you prefer modern settings, pick one of the apartment or office stories instead.
